Peter Ibbetson's wealth of experience from a range of businesses, particularly banking, brings a sharp strategic focus to our Group. Peter joined the business in 2005 following a successful career with the RBS Group at Managing Director level. He currently holds several other Directorships, including the Government's flagship initiative, the Start Up Loan Company.
Firoz Tejani is Chief Executive of the Group and one of the founding family shareholders who established the business in 1973. Originally the business was dedicated to the operation of foreign exchange concessions on London's main high streets and railway stations. It is now one of the largest retail currency exchange operators in the world and also offers a comprehensive range of financial services following the acquisition of Raphaels Bank, a bank founded in 1787, authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority
Koko Sarkari is Chief Operating Officer for ICE, looking after our global operations. He has been with the Group for over 20 years and formerly developed and ran our highly successful North American and Asia Pacific businesses. As COO, Koko has pioneered ICE's new operations in China and Southeast Asia, and has overall responsibility for revenue generation, operations and the company's administrative activities. His experience ensures that our operations are always managed with the highest levels of best practice.
Paul Glossop, Managing Director EMEA, has worked at ICE for 15 years. Paul has masterminded and led multiple new retail openings throughout Europe in recent years, as well as managing and developing existing operations. Prior to ICE, Paul enjoyed a long and successful career spanning several retail sectors.
Gillian is a FCIPD qualified HR professional with extensive HR experience covering the retail, sales, leisure, banking and service sectors. Gillian joined ICE in 1997 and has worked closely with senior management to align our People Strategy with business needs, ensuring ICE is an employer of choice. Gillian is responsible for the effective management of day to day Human Resource requirements for over 1,600 staff worldwide and has responsibility for the development and implementation of the global Human Resources strategy.
